I felt the course was well balanced in both learning and practical application.

The practice scenarios were the most helpful part of the course. It was beneficial to put what we learned into action and role play what being a first aider may entail when out in the community.

I thought Heather did a great job presenting. One of the most important things in my opinion was to create a safe space where attendees felt comfortable asking questions and speaking about difficult topics. I think Heather did a great job in creating the space, answering our questions, and leading us through this training that led to us being able to have very meaningful conversations.
