Plan to Placement
Plan to Placement integrates Person-Centered Planning with job development, providing attendees with essential tools for successful job placement. This course bridges a long-standing gap between planning and employment outcomes by guiding attendees through a full employment path—from discovery to placement—using Person-Centered Employment Planning tools. Attendees work directly with job seekers from their caseloads and receive practical guidance throughout the course to align their strategies with each individual’s unique strengths, interests, and conditions for success.
Learning Objectives:
- Define and outline steps to gather Person-Centered Employment Plan information
- Utilize tools created within the cohort for practicum and coursework activities
- Build a toolkit of strategies and resources for Person-Centered thinking and job development
- Describe how to apply Person-Centered information for successful job development
- Gather Person-Centered information on at least two job seekers
- Develop a Job Seeker Employment Resource Tool
Attendee Requirements:
- Attendees are expected to work with a job seeker throughout the course
- 4–5 attendees will be asked to bring their job seeker to the first two sessions for applied learning
