AI for Language Access: Supporting Multilingual Clients and Families
AI is everywhere right now, and for many of us it can feel exciting, overwhelming, and sometimes a little intimidating. With so many new tools appearing so quickly, it can be hard to know what is actually helpful and what may not belong in our work. This training takes a practical, honest look at how AI can support language access for multilingual clients and families. Together, we’ll explore simple ways AI can help translate information, make communication clearer, and support better understanding in employment and CI services. We’ll also talk about when AI is not the right tool and why human connection still matters. Through real examples, attendees will leave feeling more confident deciding where AI fits into their work in ways that support inclusion, dignity, and accessibility.
