Heather Evans is a disability employment and benefits professional with over 20 years of experience advancing meaningful work and community inclusion alongside people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
Her background includes supported employment, legislative advocacy, organizational development, and training in areas such as Systematic Instruction, Person-Centered Planning, and Mental Health First Aid. Heather holds a Work Incentive Practitioner Credential from Cornell University and works with the BenefitU team at Wise, supporting individuals, families, and practitioners as they navigate benefits and employment systems.
Grounded in a strong commitment to self-determination, Heather believes services should always center the individual. Outside of work, she finds joy in gardening, backpacking, and mutual aid.
