King County Training Best Practices Meeting

How’s the School to Work year going for your agency so far? Let’s talk about it with County and DVR staff at this Special Edition – Transition Best Practices meeting.
At the King county S2W kickoff in August, the County communicated key points and key issues that will be critical for this school year, and heard a lot from providers about challenges and support needs. This Special Edition Training Best Practices meeting will be an opportunity to go deeper into those challenges and opportunities. If you are now doing or want to provide S2W services in King County, please join us for this important follow-up.
What to Expect:
- County and DVR Updates
- Workshop a proposal to increase S2W awareness in the County
- Learn the “3 C’s of Transition” and a fun Discovery Activity to use with your staff and students
- Ask for support and training you need to be successful
- Small and large group discussions and networking time to connect with your colleagues
